I think my obsession with pineapples only extends to my team; but I was delighted this week when a colleague of mine used some ‘pineapple’ themed test data!! Nothing better than seeing ‘pineapple street’ on a screen!

Anyway, this week was a crazy one filled with meetings and process mapping and meetings and thinking and some head scratching and some more process mapping.

The project group got together and developed a high-level sprint plan for the next problems statement for out travel project. The next problem is about communication, and will involve more of our digital team and developers, but only once I have nailed the process maps which currently look a bit like this:

Had two really positive meetings this week with some of our IT Operations managers and really feel that I have their support. Personally, I am not technically minded and often worry about my lack of knowledge when comes to all things tech. My use of nontechnical language such as, ”that thing you do with…” and “when it does the fancy stuff in the background” is always received with an understanding nod and never any ridicule towards me, and for that I will forever be grateful and thankful that we can appreciate each other for our different skills and talents to make a project team work in the best way it can.

Project is cracking on with momentum this week and I will be dreaming about process maps no doubt, but I LOVE it.
